1. Can I use any of my Bank Accounts to eNETS Debit?
  Currently, you can only use DBS/POSB, UOB, Citibank and OCBC accounts.

2. How do I apply for an Internet Banking ID?
 
DBS/ POSB account holders
You can apply for an Internet Banking ID if you have at least one of the following accounts with DBS/POSB:

  • DBS Autosave • DBS Current
  • DBS Savings • DBS Savings PLUS
  • POSBank Savings • POSBank Current

The easiest and fastest way to apply for a DBS Internet Banking ID is via any DBS/POSB ATM machine, at your convenience, anytime of the day. Best of all, the User ID will be issued instantaneously for immediate login.

Alternatively, you may apply at any DBS/POSB branch or access DBS website to complete the application form and mail it back to them. DBS/POSB will process your application and send you the User ID and PIN within 6 working days from the date of receipt.

UOB account holders
If you are an existing customer of UOB, you can apply for Internet Banking ID in the following ways:

  • Apply at UOB Group branch for an Internet banking Access ID and PIN. These will be issued to you immediately. Login to UOB Personal UniBanking at www.uobgroup.com and follow the steps to select your preferred Username and Password for future access to UOB Personal UniBanking.


  • Apply at UOB ATMs for an Internet banking Access ID and PIN. These will be issued to you immediately. Login to UOB Personal UniBanking at www.uobgroup.com and follow the steps to select your preferred Username and Password for future access to UOB Personal UniBanking.


  • Apply online via www.uob.com.sg.


  • If you are not an existing customer of UOB, you need to first open an account with the UOB Group. You can visit any UOB Group branch to open an account and, at the same time, apply for UOB Personal UniBanking.

    Citibank MaxiSave or Ready Credit account holders

  • At www.citibank.com.sg, click on "Customers Login" and key in your 16-digit Citicard or Citibank credit card number and PIN.


  • Please remember to click on the check box to save your username onto your PC.


  • OCBC account holders
    If you are an existing customer of OCBC, you can apply for Internet Banking ID in the following ways:

  • Apply at OCBC branch for a 6-digit Internet Banking PIN. This will be issued to you immediately.


  • Apply at OCBC ATMs for a 6-digit Internet Banking PIN. The transaction receipt will state Internet Banking access code for first log-in.


  • Collect application form from OCBC branches or download from OCBC website. Mail completed forms to OCBC address. The Internet Banking Code and PIN will be mailed to you separately within seven days.

    3. What is the payment limit for payment via eNETS Debit?
      The limit depends on your Bank.

    DBS/POSB account holders
    The daily payment limit is $3,000.

    UOB account holders
    The daily payment limit is $3,000.

    Citibank account holders
    The daily payment limit is $2,000.

    OCBC account holders
    The daily payment limit is $3,000.

    4. If I have set my Internet Banking payment limit at $1000, can I increase it (e.g. $1200) subsequently?
      DBS/POSB account holders
    If you wish to increase your payment limit, your written authorisation is required. You are required to download the Multi-Purpose form available at DBS website at www.dbs.com.sg and send your request to DBS/POSB.

    UOB account holders
    Please contact your bank at 1800 2222 121 (toll-free).

    Citibank account holders
    Please call Citibank at 6225-5225.

    OCBC account holders
    Please login to OCBC Internet Banking website and select "Funds Transfer" followed by "Update Daily Limit option." Alternatively, you can complete the Change Daily Limit form and mail it back to the bank.

    5. If I have set my Internet Banking payment limit at $1000, can I decrease it (e.g. $800) subsequently?
      DBS/POSB account holders
    If you wish to decrease your payment limit, all you need to do is access the DBS website at www.dbs.com.sg, select "Payment Services" followed by "DBS d2pay Limit Change". There will be a dropdown list where you are allowed to select the new limit. No authorisation form is required.

    UOB account holders
    Please contact your bank at 1800 2222 121 (toll-free).

    Citibank account holders
    Please call Citibank at 6225-5225.

    OCBC account holders
    Please login to OCBC Internet Banking website and select "Funds Transfer" followed by "Update Daily Limit option." Alternatively, you can complete the Change Daily Limit form and mail it back to the bank.

    6. What if I have forgotten my PIN number or User ID?
      DBS/POSB account holders
    If you have forgotten your PIN number / User ID or exceeded the maximum of 5 PIN tries, you will not be able to proceed with the transaction. Please notify your Bank immediately.

    UOB account holders
    Should you lose your UOB Personal UniBanking Password, or suspect that the secrecy of your Password has been compromised, or notice any unusual activity with your account(s), you should notify the Bank immediately by calling 1800 2222 121( 24-hour, toll-free).

    Citibank account holders
    If you have forgotten your User ID and/or PIN, you will not be able to proceed with the transaction. Please call Citibank at 6225-5225 immediately.

    OCBC account holders
    If you have forgotten your Access Code, please contact OCBC at 1800 363 3333 or 65 6 363-3333. If you have forgotten your 6-digit Internet Banking PIN, you can re-enter a new PIN at OCBC ATMs under "Internet/Mobile Banking PIN Replacement" menu. Alternatively, you can mail the completed eBanking services form to OCBC address.

    7. What if I have insufficient funds in my bank account?
      DBS/POSB account holders
    You can transfer funds from your other accounts to your designated Bank account for eNETS Debit via your Bank's Internet Banking, before using eNETS Debit again.

    UOB account holders
    The transaction will be rejected. However, if you have more than one account linked for UOB Personal Internet Banking access, you will be given the option to re-select another account to complete the transaction.

    Citibank account holders
    The transaction will be rejected.

    OCBC account holders
    The transaction will be rejected.

    8. Will I have to use the same Bank account to use eNETS Debit?
      DBS/POSB account holders
    Yes. As the Bank account that you have selected initially was set as a default debiting account, all payments will be deducted from that account.

    UOB account holders
    No. You can select any accounts you have with UOB Group.

    Citibank account holders
    No. You can select any of the Maxisave or Ready Credit accounts you have with Citibank.

    OCBC account holders
    No. You can select any accounts you have with OCBC.

    9. Can I change my designated Bank account for eNETS Debit?
      DBS/POSB account holders
    You can use the Multi-Purpose form available at DBS website at www.dbs.com.sg, to instruct them to change the designated account.

    UOB account holders
    There is no designated bank account for eNETS Debit.

    Citibank account holders
    There is no designated bank account for eNETS Debit.

    OCBC account holders
    There is no designated bank account for eNETS Debit.
