Q1: What is E-Survey on the launch & sale status of private residential properties?

URA carries out monthly survey on licensed developers for information on number of housing units launched (include private previews and soft launches) and sold by developers. The E-Survey allows licensed developers to access, complete and submit survey returns on-line via the Internet.

Q3: Is E-Survey secure?

Yes, the information transmitted through the E-Survey is secure. It is protected against unauthorised access by the unique NRIC/FIN Number and SingPass or URA Password.

Q4: How can I take part in the E-Survey?

Developers who want to take part in the E-Survey must register with URA, the Name, Email address and NRIC/FIN Number of the person who is authorised to submit the E-Survey returns. You can register online or call us at 6321 8000 or 6329 3286 to provide the required information.

Q5: Do I need password to access to the E-Survey?

You can access to the E-Survey on the launch & sale status of private residential properties via using either SingPass or URA Password.

Q6: Where can I apply for a SingPass?

You can apply for a SingPass at the CPF offices, Community Development Council offices, Community Clubs / Centres, IRAS and the URA Centre. You can also request your SingPass online and it would be sent to your address maintained in the Government database.

You can apply for a URA Password online and it would be sent to your registered email address maintained in URA database.

Q8: What is the acceptable format for the URA Password?

You can key in alphanumeric password of between 8-20 characters.

Q9: What are the advantages of using the URA's E-Survey?

URA's E-Survey allows developers to submit their returns to URA via the Internet anytime, anywhere. Developers can store their data entries temporarily in the system and update them whenever necessary. They can download the survey data to their PCs or print their entries for reference and record purposes.

Q10: Do I need to key in all the information on sold units again in the subsequent surveys?

No. You only need to provide (i) information on sold units in the month, (ii) any sold units that were previously not reported to URA and, (iii) sold units that were returned to developers.

No. If you need to make amendments to the information after you have submitted to URA, please contact us at 6321 8000 or 6329 3286.

It is very user friendly. You simply need to follow the instructions given on the screen to proceed and submit the E-Survey returns.

Yes, you can. By following the file format that is specified, you can upload your survey returns in a quick and convenient way. This will significantly reduce the time you have spent online.

Instead of keying in the survey returns, you can prepare your returns at your own time and only go online to load the files when it is ready.
